Over the last two decades or more our practice has undertaken numerous Ecclesiastical Projects. During this time we have worked for many differing denominations providing all manner of architectural services on both new build & refurbishment schemes.
One of our latest projects to be completed is the new catering classroom for The King's School in Ottery St. Mary. The King's School is an 11-18 comprehensive school with approximately 1110 students. The project provides the school with a much needed new purpose built catering classroom.
The concept that form follows function is not a new one and it is the starting point of all design, however this was particularly at the forefront for one of our latest projects to create a family home in North Devon. The project sought to adapt and extend a previously converted Chapel into a future-proof home,
Grainge Architects became involved in this project following Devon Partnership NHS Trust's successful bid to NHS England to secure funding for a modern, state of the art perinatal mother & baby unit (MBU) for the South West.
