The Design in Mental Health award ceremony followed a presentation by Anita White and Liz Lavender, who shared the project’s journey and the collaborative approach that helped bring it to life.
The projects wider success is worthy recognition of a fantastic achievement for everyone involved, and we are incredibly proud of the dedication and expertise shown by Anita and the wider team at Grainge, who led the architectural design and delivery of the project.
The Brook’s success marks an exciting progression from being Highly Commended in the Future Design category at the Design in Mental Health Awards 2024, to now being recognised as the UK’s leading new mental health facility. Earlier this year, the project was also awarded Best Specialist Design at the National Healthcare Design Awards. Congratulations to all involved in making the project a success.
