The new town of Cranbrook was conceived as a sustainable and vibrant new community, in the heart of the East Devon countryside.
Outline consent was granted in 2011 for a settlement of up to 2,900 new homes, with development phased over the following years. To date Grainge Architects have undertaken detailed design for nearly 600 new dwellings over all phases of the development, creating places that respond to the unique strategic, landscape and ecological constraints.
In response to the Strategic Principles of the approved ‘Development Framework Plan‘ Grainge Architects have been working with Taylor Wimpey to deliver high quality residential developments that reinforce the character and identity of this visionary new town.
