Portfolio Pick: Weaver’s Way
Drone photography is fast becoming standard in the world of architectural photography and what better way to exploit it than capturing the view from above of the award-winning Weavers Way housing project.
The development of thirteen new homes in the village of Sandford, Mid Devon offers a mix of 2, 3, and 4-bedroom houses, including bungalows. The scheme draws on local character, with render and local stone reflecting the predominant materials found throughout the village. Elements of timber cladding nod to the traditional barns typical of the Devon countryside. Contemporary features are balanced with expansive windows, blending localised character with modern design and detailing.
