Underhill Close

Sustainable, low energy modern living.

An unapologetically modernist building enjoys a fabulous promontory over the river Exe. The upside-down layout places the main living spaces on the first floor to maximise the view down the estuary to Exmouth. The design utilises mechanical ventilation and heat recovery (MVHR) systems combined with solar thermal panels, ground source heat pumps, Photovoltaic panels and the latest battery storage system to provide a low energy approach to modern living.
