The project consisted of 680 study bedrooms in 7-bedroom cluster flats, designed with cutting-edge construction and sustainability features, optimising space on a challenging sloping site.
This innovative project is thoughtfully designed to include essential amenities like a caretaker’s flat, surf-board storage, and launderettes. The development site, set on a steep slope, presented a structural challenge that, in turn, enabled both high and low-level access to the four and five-story building blocks, optimizing development density.
Utilizing cutting-edge timber frame technology and modular bathroom pods expedited construction, meeting stringent project timelines. The project also excelled in terms of environmental sustainability, securing a BREEAM “Excellent” rating, a testament to its commitment to high-performance standards.
