An imaginative response to the client's brief - for a very light, modern extension to the existing 1930s family home, blurring boundaries between inside and outside space.

The design uses a combination of traditional and modern materials together with scale and pitching of roofs managing both to relate it to the original building and to create an exciting contrast.
