This new centre provides training facilities for both the regional fire-service (Devon & Somerset Fire and Rescue Service) and Exeter Airport, accommodating training for fire-behaviour, hot and cold smoke, and ship-fires. It also houses the emergency command unit, welfare facilities, lecture theatres and general administration, and incorporates mock-up houses and an aeroplane.
