This series of four new schools was delivered for the ESFA as part of the Government’s “Priority Schools Building Programme”. Schools included Ladysmith Junior School in Exeter, South Molton CofE Primary School, Castle Primary School in Tiverton and Chagford CofE Primary School in the Dartmoor National Park.
Working with the selected framework contractors, Grainge Architects carried ouyt initial design, secured planning permission and then supported the contractors through construction, ultimately seeing the projects through to completion. The final results are schools that provide efficient spatial use to current government design standards, sustainable design credentials and improved build quality, all alongside controlled procurement costs under the umbrella of the government PSBP framework.
