Meet the team

Grainge Architects is led by directors Tony Pollintine and James Brookes who have a shared passion for responding to clients’ needs and creating inspiring architecture. Their joint skills and strong support team ensure the practice has a broad cross section of experience across the majority of building types. Both Tony and James take an active management role at every level of the practice.

The team comprises architects and urban designers, interior designers, assistant architects, technicians and administrative back-up. The practice operates an equal opportunities policy, and actively endeavours to maintain a diverse team profile.

We work from our purpose built office, in which all staff work together in a studio environment, enabling the directors to maintain close ‘hands-on’ involvement in all projects.
