VAT is chargeable on most building work, although some work attracts a lower reduced rate and some is zero-VAT rated. The standard VAT rate is currently 20%, and the reduced rate is 5%. HM Revenue & Customs provide detailed advice, but broadly speaking.....

Seven years ago Grainge architects designed the FORCE cancer support building on the corner of the RD&E hospital campus in Exeter. We were then extremely pleased to be asked by Meriel Fishwick, the CEO of the charity, to substantially extend the original building....

These new family homes were developed in consultation with Exeter City Planning officers who wished for a design to be sympathetic to the St Leonards Conservation Area. The traditional forms of the buildings with their strongly pitched roofs, white rendered walling and generously proportioned windows......
