Women in Property’s "Step into Summer" challenge involved 61 teams attempting to walk (virtually) the distance from Glasgow to Cardiff in celebration of the forthcoming Commonwealth Games while raising awareness for Smart Works and Women in Sport, two UK charities helping to empower women.
Over the last two decades or more our practice has undertaken numerous Ecclesiastical Projects. During this time we have worked for many differing denominations providing all manner of architectural services on both new build & refurbishment schemes.
2022 is looking really positive with plenty of work on the books and a growing team. Who knows where the pandemic will take us next but for now, we wish everyone a merry Christmas and happy new year.
One of our latest projects to be completed is the new catering classroom for The King’s School in Ottery St. Mary. The King’s School is an 11-18 comprehensive school with approximately 1110 students. The project provides the school with a much needed new purpose built catering classroom.
Passive house or Passivhaus is a building standard at the forefront of improving thermal comfort, improving efficiency, and reducing energy use of the building’s we inhabit. It was developed in Germany in the 1990s and has developed into the gold standard for low energy buildings.
