Airy, welcoming and intimate, this health centre provides 6 doctors' consulting rooms together with associated nurse treatment rooms and admin areas etc.

Central to the design concept was the importance of clear sight lines - from point of arrival to entrance, entrance to reception to waiting, waiting to consultation - and prevalence of natural daylight and ventilation.  The intention (reportedly very successful) was that the building itself should contribute to the uplifting of patients' spirits, complementing the medical attention provided.
