Wyndcliffe House, Polzeath

A substantial new sea-side home currently under construction on the site of an earlier small bungalow, this highly contemporary design was granted planning consent on Appeal.  

The design takes maximum advantage of sea views, using reversed levels.  

The building uses a thermally massive concrete frame, and a number of environmentally sustainable features including solar-thermal and photo-voltaic panels, rain-water harvesting, ground-source heat, high levels of insulation and natural local materials.
