Fire Training Centre, Exeter Airport

This new Centre is being provided for training fire-fighters both for the regional fire-service (Devon & Somerset Fire and Rescue Service) and Exeter Airport.

It will provide facilities for fire-behaviour training, hot and cold smoke training, mock-up houses and aeroplane, ship-fire training, and will also accommodate the emergency command unit, welfare facilities, lecture theatres and general admin.

The design development has involved close consultation both with the Fire and Rescue Service and with Exeter Airport.
