Fire Station, Danes Castle, Exeter

From initial designs prepared in-house by the Devon & Somerset Fire and Rescue Service, this new building was procured through a design-and-build contract, the design developed by Grainge Architects.

While this is a BREEAM "Very Good" rated building, the priority is practicality.  The building was constructed while the existing ageing fire station already on the site remained operational throughout.
